Diet and feeding
Omnivorous scavengers that feed on algae, detritus, and small parasites. Supplement with quality flake food, frozen mysis shrimp, and spirulina pellets 2-3 times weekly.
Origin and habitat
Western Atlantic from Florida and the Caribbean south to Brazil.

• Minimum 20 gallon tank • Temperature range 72–78°F • Prefers rocky reefs with plenty of hiding places and crevices • Peaceful scavenger; feed small meaty foods, frozen preparations, and uneaten fish food • pH 8.1–8.3, salinity 1.023–1.025; hardy once acclimated
