Omnivorous scavengers feeding on detritus, biofilm, and small food particles. Supplement with quality flake food, spirulina, and occasional frozen micro foods.
Origin and habitat
Western Atlantic, including the Gulf of Mexico and coastal waters from Florida to Texas.

• Minimum 10 gallon tank • Hardy in stable reef conditions with temperature 72–78 °F • Prefer low light and plenty of shelter among rockwork and rubble • Feed small amounts of quality flake food, spirulina, and occasional zooplankton • Do not expose to copper-based medications or sudden environmental changes
