Diet and feeding

Scavenges detritus, uneaten food, and organic matter. Benefits from occasional feeds of frozen mysis or spirulina. Does not require active feeding in established tanks with adequate bioload.

Origin and habitat

Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea through Southeast Asia to Hawaii and the central Pacific.
