Appearance

The fish has a somewhat oval body shape with a small mouth adapted for feeding on algae and detritus. A characteristic row of bristle-like teeth is visible along the jaws, typical of the Ctenochaetus genus.

Diet and feeding

Feed primarily on dried seaweed (nori), spirulina flakes, and high-quality herbivorous pellets 1–2 times daily. Supplement with occasional blanched vegetables. Ensure adequate grazing opportunities on live rock and natural algae growth in the aquarium.
