Appearance
The Tomini Bristletooth is a small tang with a yellow-brown to olive body and distinctive brush-like snout adapted for grazing on algae. It displays vertical banding and a characteristic small mouth with comb-like teeth used for scraping algae from surfaces.
Diet and feeding
Feed high-quality dried seaweed, nori, and algae-based flakes or pellets 1-2 times daily. Supplement with fresh macroalgae. This species grazes constantly in nature and requires abundant algae in the aquarium to thrive.
