Appearance
The Red-Spotted Blenny is a small, slender-bodied blenny with a distinctive pattern of red or orange spots distributed across its tan, brown, or olive body. It has a slightly compressed body with prominent cirri (tentacle-like structures) above its eyes, and males often display more vivid coloration than females.
Diet and feeding
In captivity, offer a varied diet including dried seaweed (nori), spirulina-based foods, small live or frozen copepods, and quality mysis shrimp. Regular grazing on algae-covered rock supplements their diet naturally.
