Appearance

Greenish base coloration with red spotting on the lower body and fine turquoise striping; the wild Tefe form is especially prized for its red speckling.

Keeper notes

Peaceful shoaling discus; keep 6+ to spread the pecking order. Will eat dwarf shrimp. Best with calm warm-water, soft-water tankmates. Wild green discus are more sensitive than tank-bred strains.
