Appearance
Grayish-gold body with a black eye bar and flank spot, red-edged fins, and pointed dorsal/caudal fin extensions. Less intensely colored than German rams but far more durable.

Keeper notes
Peaceful and hardier than the German blue ram, tolerating cooler and harder water. Only mildly territorial when breeding. May eat shrimplets but generally leaves adult shrimp alone. Good community dwarf cichlid.
