About Tropic Marin Bio-Strontium
Crystalline strontium supplement for reef tanks that also supplies some calcium and bicarbonate. Free of chelates, phosphate and nitrate.
Dosing instructions
Basic dose 1 level measuring spoon (5 mL) per 190 L (50 US gal) every two weeks; may be doubled in heavily stocked tanks. One spoon raises strontium in 100 L by about 5 mg/L (natural seawater is 8 mg/L). Sprinkle on the water surface while stirring and keep undissolved crystals away from animals. High strontium can harm corals, so monitor the level.
