About Seachem Reef Carbonate
Liquid alkalinity supplement for reef tanks that raises carbonate hardness.
Dosing instructions
Beginner: 1 capful (5 mL) per 80 L (20 US gallons) twice a week, diluted in a cup of freshwater; check alkalinity every 2 weeks. Advanced: dose until alkalinity reaches 4-5 meq/L, then as needed; do not exceed 20 mL per 80 L per day or 1 meq/L rise per day. Expert: drip into top-off using m = va/4. Do not mix directly with calcium, magnesium or strontium supplements; dose 30 minutes apart. Pour near strong flow. Crystals in cold product are normal; warm and shake.
