About Reef Zlements Z-Complete Part 1
A balanced inorganic alkalinity and pH buffer that replenishes carbonates consumed by corals. Part of the standard Z-Complete 2-part method for stable reef chemistry.
Dosing instructions
Part 1 of the Z-Complete hybrid 2-part system (alkalinity + balanced macro/micro/trace). Official impact: 10 mL per 100L raises alkalinity ~1 dKH. Parts 1 and 2 may be adjusted INDEPENDENTLY to hold each parameter — dose them at least 15 minutes apart to avoid chemical interference. Manufacturer targets: alkalinity 6.5-7.5 dKH (aim 7), calcium 380-480 mg/L (aim 420), pH 8.2-8.3. Can be dosed neat or diluted for small tanks.
