About Continuum Aquatics Reef Basis Magnesium Dry
Anhydrous magnesium salt in dry form for reef tanks, dissolved before dosing. Contains no acetate, EDTA or polygluconates.
Dosing instructions
Dissolve 2-1/2 grams (about 1/2 teaspoon) in 8 oz (236 ml) purified water and add in high flow per 20 gallons (76 L) every other day until target; keep magnesium at 1250 to 1350 mg/L. Formula: gallons x 0.009 x mg/L increase = grams. Always mix outside the tank, can get hot, wear gloves. Keep tightly closed.
