About Continuum Aquatics Reef Basis Calcium Dry
Powdered calcium chloride for reef tanks that you dissolve in purified water before dosing. Contains no organics, phosphate or silicate.
Dosing instructions
Dissolve 2 g (about 1 teaspoon) in 8 oz (236 ml) purified water and add in a high flow area once per day per 20 gallons (76 L) until the target is reached; keep calcium at 410 to 450 mg/L. Formula: gallons x ppm increase x 0.011 = grams. Gets very hot when mixed, use gloves and mix outside the tank. Do not add with alkalinity products at the same time.
