About Brightwell Aquatics Alkalin8.3-P
Powdered version of the Alkalin8.3 KH buffer that raises alkalinity and settles pH at 8.3. Must be dissolved in fresh water before dosing.
Dosing instructions
Basic: dissolve 2 g (about 1/2 tsp) per 20 US gal of tank water in 8 fl oz of fresh water and add every other day or as needed to hold 7 to 12 dKH; 1,000 g treats up to 10,000 US gal. Advanced: each g raises 1 US gal by 12 dKH (4.2 meq/L); grams = gallons x dKH rise x 0.089. Test alkalinity first. Never add the powder directly to the tank.
