About Aquaforest Kalium
A high-purity potassium agent designed to maintain natural seawater levels (380-400ppm). Essential for pink and red coloration in SPS.
Dosing instructions
Concentrated potassium supplement (REGULAR Kalium line). Official: 10 mL per 100L raises potassium by 10 mg/L; maximum 20 mL per 100L per day. Recommended level 360-420 mg/L; test before dosing. WARNING: Aquaforest also sells 'AF Lab Kalium' which is nearly twice as strong (~1.86 ppm per mL per 100L) — this entry's math is for the regular product only; do not use it for the Lab bottle.
Reef-keeper notes
Highly concentrated K for neurological functions, nutrient transport, pink/red coral color. Zeolite filtration may cause K deficiency. Target 360–420 ppm K.
